Tek The Cat

Tek is based on my cat that recently passed away a few weeks ago (though I modelled this while he was very alive).
He had zero range of emotion, and I loved him for it. He was more of a roommate than a pet.
So this artwork sadly becomes a little more of a 'in memory' than I would have liked, but It still makes me smile to look at him.

A concept for Tek taken from an illustration my husband Myke Sutherland drew.
This is Tek and Zeus (our other cat). Tek we adopted as an adult, and Zeus we got as a kitten. He grew up playfighting with Tek, even when he ended up bigger than poor Tek.
