Zoo Habitat - Madagascar A Little WIld

this was the main and first set for Madagascar - A little wild. I started this show while we were still recruiting a team of artists to join us, yet had to hit the ground running. This set was a particular curiosity to work on with a fair number of adjustments to make because the original design had only accommodated the main character scales (child versions of the main animals from madagascar) but human scale had not been factored in, though with a large cast of humans (at that stage still in design) that had to be able to access the habitat/doorways/stairs and the 'under water' hippo enclosure.

Eventually we got there, and the set features in (I think?) every episode of madagascar - a little wild, due to it being their main living quarters (that they escape out of every episode).

Also at the end of the stream of images, there are some rotations of trees I created for use in this or other sets, using MASH.

any takes that have other names on them are artists that were responsible for other stages of production, eg: surfacing or lighting.
